Milton of Fonab Caravan Park is located on the outskirts of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire, Scotland . Pitlochry has long had the reputation as one of the finest holiday resorts in Scotland. Almost the exact centre of the country, Pitlochry makes not only an ideal base for a touring holiday but is itself easy to reach, either by road or rail.
The town itself has many attractions which are all within easy walking distance of our site - Pitlochry Hydro-Electric Dam and fish ladder, the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre on the banks of the River Tummel and, a few miles upstream, the Pass of Killiecrankie.
Trout and salmon fishing, boating on Loch Faskally, sailing on Loch Tummel, tennis, bowling, golfing, putting, hillwalking and pony trekking are all available to the visitor who enjoys the great outdoors.
Day trips can be made to Inverness to the North, Oban and Fort William to the West, Braemar and Royal Deeside to the North-East, and the Trossachs and Loch Katrine to the South-West.
Afternoon outings to Braemar, Balmoral and the magnificent Queens View over Loch Tummel, Loch Rannoch and the beautiful Glen Lyon - Scotland's longest Glen. Blarigowrie, Dunkeld and the Hermitage, and Kenmore and Aberfeldy also make excellent trips. Perhaps most spectacular is Blair Castle, 7 miles North of Pitlochry. Bruar Falls and the House of Bruar are also close to this historic site
