The Caravan Park is situated 45 minutes north of Inverness, just off the A9 between Tain, Scotland?s oldest Royal Burgh, and the quaint cathedral town of Dornoch. John O?Groats is just an hour-and-a-half drive to the north.
The town of Tain and the surrounding countryside has something for everyone, being full of ancient history, magnificent architecture, beautiful wildlife and offering many sports and leisure activities. The Tain Gala takes place over a week in the summer and offers activities for all the family during each day and in the evenings. The Tain Highland Gathering is another truly traditional Highland event of the summer, attracting many visitors. Tain currently has two supermarkets: the Co-op and Lidl. Tesco is also due to arrive in the town in the near future. In addition to these, there is a range of specialist shops and enterprising businesses in the area
